Inverse Snake has all the action of snake but with a fun gimmick, you are the food instead.
How long can you last against a hoard of snakes in Inverse Snake?
DISCLAIMER: This game is just a gimmick and has a lot of flaws. I will probably revisit this idea in the future to improve it.

he uses sfml, which can compile to macos and linux, even ios & android.

hey guys i figured it out. F11 then resize and it changes to the correct windowed mode

I used Visual Studios 2022 with C++. The graphics use a library called SFML and for the UI I have my own library called Glass.
Please add support for Mac! I would love to play this on my laptop.
I would love to play this on Android someday so I think I will add this to my collections then.
it zooms in when opened and makes it so you cant see where youre going since you get spawned at the bottom

Can you make a version that's windowed?
After I exit the game, it changes all of my other window resolutions to hide the task bar. I found an easy fix, but it would be nice to make a windowed option at least.

Please release a mobile version
Soo, I had trouble with getting to have the game, because it was always misaligned. Tried f11, didn't work. I remembered that my screen rotates on it's own. (windows 11) So, flip the screen while the game is on and flip it back, that will fit for real.
Please release that for linux or mac, please🥺️🥺️

for some reason a version that i downloaded like some months ago had the .exe file missing for some reason. (i re-downloaded it)
Actually really cool! The concept of avoiding enemies that continually grow like you do in Snake...
My only criticism is that the portals should be coded by color instead of by number; it's hard to read numbers while fleeing from snakes that are as fast as you are.

AI: This is a difficult question to answer. Some people might say yes, because it shows that the AI is becoming more advanced and could one day surpass humans. Others might say no, because the AI is still not as intelligent as humans and does not have all of the same capabilities.

Nice little game! I had some ideas to improve the scoring:
Also, I had an idea for a different game mode: The game starts with a single AI snake and a piece of food spawned in a random position. Before the snake gets the food, the player must select the position that the next piece of food will spawn at with the mouse. When the snake gets the current piece of food, a new piece is spawned at that position. If the player fails to select a position before the snake gets the current piece, they loose. The player wins by trapping the snake so it collides with itself. This might also work with multiple snakes.
You could even have menu that lets you choose to 'Be the snake!', 'Be the food!' or 'Be the feeder!' 😂

I'm not able to try it on Windows. It loads in Windows under Wine. But it seems I don't have a high enough screen resolution to view the whole window on my laptop. My max resolution is 1366x768. I don't know if this would be an issue on Windows or not.
I am on a 4k monitor and this game automatically resizes the game to 1920x1080, which is annoying since it doesn't fully fit my screen and puts the game in the top left corner, but it is an issue of the renderer itself not wine
